My soulful journey would have to begin with my love of dance and music.  From the age of 3, I have danced and been trained in the discipline of the Royal Academy of Dance under my own mothers direction.

After working in the health system for over 15 years I began to explore the world of mind body wellness and natural health therapies.   At the time I had a very young family and was seeking work life balance.  In 2012 I began studying in Adelaide at the Natural Health Academy as a Massage Therapist and then continued with my study as a Mind Body Wellness Instructor.  Once qualified, I began embarking on teaching classes for mind body wellness and offering corporate massage therapy in workplace settings. 

 

It was around 2018 I took the risk to give up my day work completely.   I began to fully focus my energies bringing the skills I had learnt to work alongside Unique Remedial massage Therapy in the Clare Valley.  I continued to study further many different modalities within the massage & beauty industry and my client base began to grow.  By 2020 with a pandemic looming, Unique was closed and uncertainty of what to do next was real.  With Uniques decision to remain closed in CBD our strong bond of shared values would be to work collaboratively for all our existing clients we had built each to have a home one day. The opening of The Beautique began to naturally evolve during this reflection time and my biggest leap of faith was yet to come to open a new CBD location during a pandemic.

 

The Beautique's aim at this crucial point was to offer authentic, wellness experiences in a safe and calm environment for the community during stressful times.  Within the Beautique we have seen steady growth of client base which continues to exceed our expectations.
