Hi, I’m Meleeta, most people call me Mel.

I’m the Clinical Lead at Evolve Well Health.  

I have to admit, studying has never been my favourite pastime!  But if it helps me provide better support for children and families in our regional community, it's worth it!  This is why I continue towards Nurse Practitioner, expanding the care I can provide to local children and families.

I'm a Credentialed Mental Health Nurse, Registered Nurse, Registered Play Therapist and Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with a passion for supporting children and families to thrive.  

I bring over 20 years of experience across child health, perinatal care, and mental health nursing. 

My approach is child centered, trauma informed and collaborative, recognising that every child is unique and that families play an important role in supporting growth, wellbeing and resilience.

I focus on each child’s strengths, the relationships that matter most to them and the ways confidence and resilience are built through everyday experiences and connections.

My goal is to provide care that feels calm, supportive and genuinely helpful.  Support that is responsive, practical and tailored to the needs of each child and family.

I’m also passionate about supporting and mentoring the next generation of paediatric nurses, helping to grow a strong local workforce for regional communities. 

Outside of work, I enjoy off‑road caravanning, live music, and time with my family, which help keep me grounded, connected and inspired.

Bella 

I’m a Registered Nurse who’s taken the scenic route through nursing and loved it, every step of the way.

I started out as an Enrolled Nurse in 2019 before becoming a Registered Nurse in 2025, building a strong foundation in hands-on, compassionate care along the way.

Most recently, I’ve been working in aged care, where I’ve learned that great nursing is just as much about connection, patience, and a good sense of humour as it is about clinical skills. I’m now diving into a Graduate Certificate in Mental Health, driven by a passion for supporting young people and making a difference early in their mental health journeys.

Outside of scrubs, you’ll usually find me spending time with family and friends, recharging so I can bring my best self to both life and nursing.
