(2–3 families) supporting emotional well-being and connection in the early years.
Using play therapy principles and attachment informed approaches, families come together to notice moments of attunement, try simple practices at home, in a sequenced and progressive way. Reflecting on what feels supportive and helpful in everyday life.

Circle in Practice 1:1
​
Circle in Practice – Individual (1:1) is a gentle, relational offering that supports parents, carers, and children through times of emotional stress, transition, or vulnerability.
Grounded in attachment‑informed and play therapy approaches. Sessions offer a space to slow down, reflect, and support emotional wellbeing.

How support works

Sessions are 40 minutes, typically offered fortnightly during school terms

First phase – Parent / Carer sessions

Support begins with individual sessions for the parent or carer.

A GP Management Plan is required

Up to 5 sessions
-
$40 out‑of‑pocket per session (where medicare applies)

Second phase - Child‑Focused Sessions​

Sessions may move into individual child‑focused work.

You return to your GP

Your child may have their own GP Management Plan

How Medicare Works with a Mental Health Nurse

Mental health nursing services are accessed through a GP Management Plan.
This is different from a Mental Health Treatment Plan used for psychology. -
Medicare provides up to 5 rebates per person

Where Medicare criteria are not met, sessions are available on a private‑fee basis.
