Child Centered Play Therapy

Child‑Centred Play Therapy (CCPT) is a specialised form of psychotherapy for children aged 3–12 years, where play is the child’s natural language of expression.
Delivered within our Story Corner Workshop, sessions take place in a safe, predictable, and thoughtfully prepared sensory environment, designed to support emotional expression, regulation, and relational safety.
Children are supported to:

Explore emotions safely
Process difficult or overwhelming experiences
Build resilience and confidence
Strengthen relationships
In time evelop emotional regulation skills
This approach is developmentally aligned and responsive to the unique needs of each child.
Research supports CCPT as an effective therapeutic approach for children experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties, including those with ADHD, autism, and medical trauma.
